Working meeting of Loznica, Mali Zvornik, Krupanj and Ljubovija leadership was held today
At the request of the Mayor of Loznica, Mr. Vidoje Petrovic, a working meeting of the leaders of Loznica, Mali Zvornik, Krupanj and Ljubovija was held today in the premises of the City Hall.
            The main topic was the forthcoming regionalization while the issues pertinent to this geographical region were also discussed. The focus was on the subject of setting up regional dump site and inter-municipal agreement that would precede this joint project. The Mayor of Loznica, Mr. Vidoje Petrovic  stressed that joint interests of Loznica, Krupanj, Mali zvornik and Ljubovija are in question and that this kind of projects are automatically linked to construction of roads Ljubovija-Krupanj and Mali zvornik -Krupanj, same as  repair and remediation of the existing dump sites.
            It was agreed that the working group in Loznica in the forthcoming two weeks should produce study on organizations and costs of regional dump sites, the study should be presented to project partners so that that could give their final opinion.
            As future regional centre, the leadership of Loznica, Mayor Vidoje Petrovic and his assistant Petar Ekmescis offered today to their guests, cooperation in regards to regional Ombudsman and Public Defender's office. The guests from Krupanj, Mali Zvornik and Ljubovija demonstrated interest in these proposals. The general conclusion was that establishment of joint projects and subsequently institutions also would contribute to stronger impact of this region in Belgrade, but also to more organized approach to various European funds which enhance regional cooperation.
